A beautiful day tour! 99% on cycle paths, through never-ending forests, with a steel-blue sky but unfortunately also with a lot of headwind. After 1 hour 45 minutes, we had just completed 14 km and were preparing for a long day. The gravel and forest roads ended after Slovenia and in Croatia we had solid ground under our wheels again. Accordingly, we were able to increase the pace and make up ground. With a good 1300 metres of altitude difference, it was a nice challenge and the beer in the evening was more than deserved.
